Vasanti Estate Winery
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, Canada
Family-owned Okanagan estate. Sustainable viticulture and expressive varietals.
Vasanti Estate Winery is the Sidhu family's winery just north of Oliver, in the South Okanagan. The story begins in 1980, when Harb Sidhu moved from India to Oliver and started farming, first an orchard, then vineyards. His sons Gordie, Davinder and Vik grew up on the land and launched the winery to carry on his legacy, releasing their first wines in 2023. Vasanti is a Punjabi word for new beginnings and renewal, a nod to their father's journey. The family grows about 20 acres in Oliver and Osoyoos, including blocks in the Monarch vineyards, and sources Chardonnay from the Jagger Rock Vineyard in the Similkameen.
