About JST Wine & Spirits

A boutique wine and spirits import agency in Toronto, run by Jean-Sébastien Tisserand-Marchese.

The founder's story

Jean-Sébastien Tisserand-Marchese came to wine through communications and brand strategy, built on a background in French PR and brand storytelling. That background shapes how the agency works today: import is treated as representation, not just logistics — building each producer's presence in the Ontario market, not simply moving cases across a border.

Intentional selectivity

We represent few producers, and we represent them well. A deliberately short book means every producer gets real attention — from the story behind the label to the relationships that get it onto the right lists.

A dual market strategy

Two doors into Ontario: LCBO tenders — monitoring category calls, preparing and submitting tenders for general list, Vintages, and specialty placement — and private import, securing allocations by the case direct from the estate for restaurants, sommeliers, wine bars, specialty retailers, and eligible private clients.

Our mission

To build lasting producer presences in Canada, not one-off shipments — representation that compounds over years, not a single order.

Story first

Every wine arrives with the story of the people who made it.

Few, well

A short book, given real attention, beats a long one spread thin.

For the long term

We build presences that last, not transactions that end at delivery.

A bridge between producers and the Canadian market.
