Tour de Pressac 2022
Red
Saint-Émilion Grand Cru, France
Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon
Accolades: James Suckling 93, Andreas Larsson 92, several Gold and Silver medals
Crafted from dedicated parcels of the Pressac estate, Château Tour de Pressac is much more than a traditional second wine. It offers an accessible yet authentic expression of the estate's limestone terroir, emphasizing freshness, purity of fruit and immediate drinkability.
Style: Medium to full-bodied, fresh and fruit-forward, with ripe blackberries, cherries and subtle floral and spice notes. Silky tannins, lively acidity and an elegant mineral backbone create a balanced, approachable Saint-Émilion with genuine depth.
Pairings: A versatile match for roast poultry, grilled meats, charcuterie, mushroom dishes and semi-aged cheeses. Well suited to upscale bistros, wine bars and contemporary restaurants seeking a premium Bordeaux offering with excellent value.
